Launched in 2024, Eastern Business Advisory is an initiative of the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) Councils, delivered through their Economic Development portfolio. The ERA is a collaboration of Eastern metropolitan councils that voluntarily work together to strengthen their local communities and the broader Eastern region. Member councils include the Cities of Burnside, Campbelltown, Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Prospect, Unley, and the Town of Walkerville.

Supporting local businesses is a shared strategic priority across all ERA Councils. In response, the Eastern Business Advisory program was developed to provide eligible small businesses with access to expert, one-on-one advice across a range of business development areas.

Eligible small businesses located within the ERA Council region can access up to three free one-hour advisory sessions per financial year.
