The service is accessible to businesses that have a registered ABN and are located (including home-based) within one of the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) Councils. These councils include the Cities of Burnside, Campbelltown, Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Prospect, Unley, and the Town of Walkerville.

To book a session you need to apply for the Eastern Business Advisory (EBA) program first. Applications can be submitted through the following link: https://www.easternbusinessadvisory.sa.gov.au/application-form
Once your application has been received the Eastern Business Advisory Officer will confirm your eligibility and match you with an Advisor. The officer will contact you via email which will include steps on how to book your sessions.

This service is offered free of charge to businesses that are registered and located within the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) Council areas, which include the Cities of Burnside, Campbelltown, Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Prospect, Unley, and the Town of Walkerville. Each business can access up to 3 hours of one-on-one consultation sessions with their Advisor.
Eligible businesses can access up to three (3) hours of support with a Business Advisor.
Advisors are based in one of the ERA Council areas. The meeting location will be mutually decided between the Advisor and the Business. Some advisors may prefer to meet at your business location, while others may have a separate office space to meet.
Once you have applied and been matched with an Advisor, we recommend booking as soon as possible and using the sessions efficiently, however please note:
Eligible businesses accepted into the program in 2024 will have until 30 June 2025 to use their sessions.
Eligible businesses accepted into the program in 2025 will have until 30 June 2026 to use their sessions.
ERA refers to the Eastern Region Alliance of Councils, which is a group of Eastern metropolitan councils that voluntarily work together for the benefit of their local communities and the Eastern region community as a whole. ERA Councils include the Cities of Burnside, Campbelltown, Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Prospect, Unley, and the Town of Walkerville.
The EBA program is designed to help as many businesses as possible. If you participated in our program in a previous year, and would like to re-apply this year, you can, however you will not be re-matched with the same Advisor as before. Your new application will be re-assessed, and a new match will be made based on your current needs.
